Quick Hawaiian Grilled Cheese Bites

Main Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or similar melting cheese
  • 0.5 cup diced ham preferably cooked and cubed
  • 8 slices bread your choice, but Hawaiian bread works great
  • 4 tbsp butter softened for easy spreading
  • 1 cup pineapple slices fresh or canned

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Layer half of the bread slices with mozzarella cheese, diced ham, and pineapple.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  • Cook sandwiches in the heated skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping!
