Preparation Steps

  • Carefully make a small slit in each date and stuff it with about a teaspoon of cheese.
  • Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Arrange the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

For a spicy kick, try adding jalapeño slices before wrapping the dates with bacon.
