Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter in a bowl until the crumbs are moistened and hold together when pressed.
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish to form an even crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
Beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Fold half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined to create a light cheesecake layer.
Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the Oreo crust.
Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk according to package directions until thickened, then spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
Top the pudding with the remaining whipped topping and smooth into an even layer. Sprinkle the chopped Oreo cookies over the top for garnish.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to set. Cut into 12 slices and serve chilled.
Notes
For best results, assemble the dessert a few hours ahead so layers set. You can substitute chocolate pudding for a different flavor.
