Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies about 24 cookies, finely crushed
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk cold
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 ounce package
  • 2 cups whipped topping such as Cool Whip, thawed
  • 0.5 cup chopped Oreo cookies for layering and garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter in a bowl until the crumbs are moistened and hold together when pressed.
  • Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish to form an even crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
  • Beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined to create a light cheesecake layer.
  • Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the Oreo crust.
  • Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk according to package directions until thickened, then spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  • Top the pudding with the remaining whipped topping and smooth into an even layer. Sprinkle the chopped Oreo cookies over the top for garnish.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to set. Cut into 12 slices and serve chilled.

Notes

For best results, assemble the dessert a few hours ahead so layers set. You can substitute chocolate pudding for a different flavor.
