Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Mix in the beaten eggs until fully incorporated.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
Fold in the pecans gently.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
