  • 6 large eggs preferably organic
  • 2 cups milk whole milk recommended
  • 4 croissants croissants stale croissants work best
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese
  • 1 cup sautéed spinach or any greens you prefer
  • 1 tbsp butter for greasing the baking dish
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter.
  • Tear the croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in the dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces.
  • Add the sautéed spinach and cheese, then gently mix everything.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes until set and golden on top.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
