Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 225°F (107°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a clean mixing bowl, beat egg whites on medium speed until soft peaks form.
Gradually add powdered sugar, one tablespoon at a time, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold in cocoa powder and vanilla extract until fully combined.
Spoon or pipe meringue onto prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Bake for about 60 minutes, or until the meringues are dry and easily peel off parchment.
Turn off the oven and let the cookies cool inside for 30 minutes.
