  • 3 cups thinly sliced apples Any firm variety works well.
  • 0.5 cups caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 0.5 cups chopped walnuts Optional for crunch.

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Add softened cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Fold in sliced apples and half the caramel sauce.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top and sprinkle chopped walnuts if using.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set.
  • Let cool before cutting into bars and serving.
