Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Mix in the flour until a dough forms, then press half into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
Toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and pour over the crust.
Crumble the remaining dough over the apples evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Let cool before slicing into bars.
