Dump 4 ingredients into a slow cooker. End result is a hearty, tasty chicken and stuffing
Easy dump-and-go slow cooker chicken and stuffing — just chicken, dry stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Tender shredded chicken mixed into seasoned stuffing makes a comforting weeknight meal.
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker in a single layer.
Stir together the condensed cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a bowl until smooth, then pour evenly over the chicken.
Sprinkle the dry seasoned stuffing mix evenly over the soup-covered chicken. Do not stir.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours (about 240 minutes) or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Remove the chicken to a cutting board, shred with two forks, then return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and gently mix with the stuffing until combined. Serve warm.
Notes
Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add a splash of chicken broth when reheating if the stuffing seems dry.
