Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, melted butter, and taco seasoning until smooth.
Stir in the shredded chicken, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced green onions until evenly mixed.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Sprinkle the crushed Doritos evenly over the top, then sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the Doritos.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the casserole is hot and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro and remaining green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, add fresh chopped tomatoes just before serving. Leftovers keep 3 days refrigerated; reheat covered in the oven or microwave.
