  • 2 packages cream cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sugar For both cheesecake and topping.
  • 3 large eggs Room temperature for better blending.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pure for best flavor.
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream Adds richness to the filling.

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined.
  • Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sugar; mix until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing slowly after each addition. Then add vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the heavy cream until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared crust.
  • Bake for about 60 minutes or until center is just set.
  • Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle sugar evenly over the top and caramelize with a torch until golden.

Notes

For a unique twist, consider adding a splash of orange zest to the filling. Serve chilled for the best experience!
