Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven according to pizza dough package instructions.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper until soft, about 5 minutes.
Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart, for about 6-8 minutes.
Stir in chili sauce and season with garlic powder. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface, then transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
Spread the chili mixture evenly on the dough, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden, about 15-20 minutes.
Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra kick, add jalapeños on top before baking. Serve with a side of sour cream for dipping.
