Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream gently into the pumpkin mixture until well combined.
Layer half of the crushed ginger snap cookies in a trifle dish.
Spoon half of the pumpkin cream over the cookies.
Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies and pumpkin cream.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider drizzling some maple syrup on top before serving or adding chopped nuts for crunch.
