Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, lime juice, and lime zest; mix well.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
Gently fold in the blackberries without breaking them.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
