Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs and then stir in the milk.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently. Fold in the chopped apples.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool before removing from the pan.
For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with a little water until smooth, and drizzle it over the cooled cake.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
