2tbspchocolate shavings or cocoa powderfor garnish
12unitsmall plastic or glass shot cups
Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on a shallow plate. Dip the rim of each shot cup in a little milk, then press the rim into the crushed cookies to coat. Set cups aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until the pudding begins to thicken, about 2 minutes.
Add the chocolate liqueur and vanilla vodka to the pudding mixture and whisk until smooth and fully combined.
Fold the whipped topping gently into the pudding mixture until no streaks remain and the mixture is light and airy.
Spoon or pipe the pudding mixture into the prepared shot cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
Top each shot with a small dollop of reserved whipped topping and sprinkle with additional crushed cookies or chocolate shavings.
Chill the pudding shots in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set. Serve chilled.
Notes
Make these up to a day ahead and keep covered in the fridge. For a non-alcoholic version, replace the liqueur and vodka with extra milk or coffee-flavored syrup.
