Fantastic recipe for a treat that can be enjoyed by the whole family at any time. Rice is the base of this meal, which also features a ton of vegetables and eggs, all of which combine to create a dish that is both tasty and good for you.

If you are sick of ordering meals from restaurants and you just want to prepare a recipe of your own, better than takeaway fried rice is an excellent choice for you to consider making. The finished product has a satisfying crunch and a wealth of flavor, qualities that almost make it superior to any fried rice you might have at a restaurant. It is really simple to put together, and it will not put a significant dent in your finances.

The key to preparing crispy and tasty fried rice at home is to cool the rice before using it. This is the step that unlocks the secret. To achieve the best results, you should let the rice sit in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. The longer it is allowed to freeze and dry out, the better the end product will be!

Cooking rice the night before, spreading it out on a baking sheet, and storing it in the refrigerator uncovered until the next evening, when I am ready to fry it up, is the method that I find to be the most convenient. After that, all you need to do is mince some herbs and vegetables and beat some eggs before you’re good to go.

Ingredients:

three eggs, lightly beaten, three tablespoons of butter, divided
1 large carrot that has been peeled and cut into cubes 1 small white onion that has been sliced 3 cloves of garlic that has been minced 4-5 cups of rice that has been cooked and chilled
1 cup frozen peas
4 slivers of green onion, sliced very thinly
1/4 cup soy sauce, plus more to taste
2 tsp sesame oil
3 milliliters of oyster sauce
Both pepper and salt

The first step is to preheat a large skillet, preferably over a medium heat. In order for the butter to melt, put one tablespoon of it into the pan. After this, add the eggs that have been softly beaten to the mixture, and then scramble them after allowing them to cook for around 30–40 seconds. Take the pan from the heat and put it to the side.

Step 2: When the pan is heated, add the rest of the butter, then add the carrot and onion, let it cook until it is soft, then add the garlic and cook it till you can smell it but it isn’t turning brown.

Step 3: Raise the temperature just a little and add the rice and the peas. Let the mixture simmer for about three to four minutes, or until it is golden brown, and then stir in the eggs, the green onion, the soy sauce, the sesame oil, and the oyster sauce. Continue to let it cook for a few more minutes until the mixture reaches the desired temperature.

Step four: After adding salt and pepper to taste, serve the dish while it is still hot for optimal enjoyment.
