Jerry’s Subs and Pizza is notorious for being the hangout spot in Maryland and can turn any day into a great one!

How do you like your pizza? Doesn’t matter, they can make it any way you like!

Fun Fact – The founder of Jerry’s Subs and Pizza is a bit of a mystery. However, it seems in 2010 a wax figure of the mysterious owner was released to Madame Tussaud’s, even though a photo can’t be found online.

Who knew Taco Bell would be so popular in west coast states? Taco Bell for sure!

Fun Fact – Taco Bell’s history started in 1951. Ironically, it started at founder Glen Bell’s restaurant Bell’s Hamburger and Hot Dogs. He sold hard-shell tacos so he could be different from his competition (McDonald’s was located close by).

Whatever you do, never try to walk into a Sonic restaurant… It’s only a drive-in fast food place, but you probably already knew that, ha!

Fun Fact – Sonic Drive-In started out in Oklahoma in 1953 as Top Hat, which was originally a root beer stand that also sold hamburgers and hot dogs.

Have you ever heard of Bojangles? If not, you’re totally missing out… especially on the chicken biscuit sandwich with cheese meal.

Fun Fact – During 1989’s Hurricane Hugo, Bojangles was the one of few restaurants to stay open during the storm.

Fun Fact – Founder of Wendy’s, Dave Thomas, named the restaurant after his fourth child, Melinda “Wendy” Thomas. Wendy did indeed have red hair and pigtails!

New York is notorious for pizza, so when Sbarro opened in 1956, they quickly perfected the signature New York slice and changed the game forever.

Fun Fact – Sbarro’s founders, Gennaro and Carmela Sbarro were immigrants from Italy who opened their first location in New York in 1956. The first Sbarro in a mall didn’t open until 1970.

Although this restaurant only serves ready to bake pizza, they’re popular year-round! Guess it’s because they make any kind of pizza your heart desires.

Fun Fact – Papa Murphy’s was the result of two restaurants merging in 1995 – Papa Aldo’s and Murphy’s Pizza.
