Fast food restaurant: Subway
Connecticut clearly loves their food fresh and of course, their footlongs.
Fun Fact – The original Subway opened due to an amazing idea. Dr. Peter Buck invested $1000 to Connecticut college freshman Fred DeLuca to “open a submarine shop.” Buck told DeLuca the shop would be a way to help pay for his college tuition.

Fast food restaurant: Popeyes
If another fast-food restaurant represented Louisana, then that would probably cause bigger chaos than the year 2020.
Fun Fact – In 1972, Popeyes founder Al Copeland opened the restaurant in Louisiana to rival KFC. The original restaurant was named “Chicken on the Run”, but when it failed after a couple of months, he renamed it Popeyes and the rest is history.

Fast food restaurant: Cold Stone Creamery
Arizona summers can get pretty intense, so it only makes total sense that Cold Stone Creamery lines are backed all the way up.
Fun Fact – In 1988, Donald and Susan Sutherland opened Cold Stone Creamery because they wanted ice cream made in-house and on the same day customers came in. They didn’t want to sell the prepackaged stuff you could get from a grocery store or the soft serve that came pre-made in a bag.

Fast food restaurant: Chick-Fil-A
Whenever there’s a Chick-Fil-A in the area, there’s a big chance you’re spending your lunch and dinner there… just ask any Mississippi local.
Am I wrong? I think not, haha.
Fun Fact – Only three states don’t have a Chick-Fil-A: Alaska, Hawaii, and Vermont. The rest of the states and DC have at least one restaurant from the fast food chain.

Italian sandwiches are totally delicious, so having this restaurant as the go-to place for a quiet state like New Hampshire, makes total sense.
Fun Fact – Founder Phil “Moe” Pagano was working as a cheese salesman before he opened up Moe’s Italian Sandwiches in 1959. He only sold one type of sandwich, which was a recipe passed down to him by his mother.

Ted’s Montana Grill in Montana? It makes for a great date night and their menu brings in people far and wide.
Fun Fact – Ted’s Montana Grill was founded by media mogul Ted Turner and one of the main purposes of the restaurant opening was to introduce bison meat and its health benefits to the world.

Not only was Godfather’s Pizza founded in Nebraska, it now has close to 700 locations all over the map, with plans of adding more in the future.
Fun Fact – The founder of Godfather’s Pizza, Nebraskan Willy Theisen, had a bar next door to the first location of the pizza place. He cut a hole in the wall and gave people pizzas through the hole and thus his successful business was born.

Despite being an always cold environment, Alaska sure knows how to warm people up with their tasty pizzas. Head on up and grab a couple pies, your tastebuds will thank you!
Fun Fact – The Great Alaska Pizza Company’s original 10 restaurants were originally Little Caesar’s. However, once the company broke away from the chain, they used their own recipes for their pizzas.
