Unless you’re from Hawaii, you might not be aware of Zippy’s. It’s not your traditional fast food place, but it’ll fill you up quicker than they can… just look at the size portions, they’re beasty, lol.

Fun Fact – Right now, Zippy’s only has locations in Hawaii, but their website says they are opening a location in Las Vegas soon!

Fast food restaurant: McDonald’s

Whether you’re in a rush or just want to have a meal with some friends, Mcdonald’s in Illinois is your best bet.

Fun Fact – When Ray Kroc visited the McDonald brothers in 1954, he was going to sell them Multimixer machines. When he found out they needed a franchising agent, he decided to take on the job.

When Domino’s first opened in 1960, who would’ve thought it would grow to such heights?  The next time you’re in the mood for Saturday night pizza, all you have to do is pull up the Domino’s app and you’re good to go.

Fun Fact – In 1960, the first Domino’s was originally called Domi-Nicks, which was a pizza store in Michigan. It was renamed to Domino’s Pizza Inc in 1965.

Despite being a mainly coffee shop, they’re the hangout spot in Idaho and brings in a great crowd year-round because of their sub sandwiches.

Fun Fact – Moxie Java has the most locations in Idaho, with a total of 13. As of right now, the only other states that have a Moxie Java are North Dakota and South Carolina, both with one location.

Surprisingly enough, Burger King is popular pretty much wherever it’s at. The whopper is made to the order and your meal is given to you within a few minutes… does it get any better? Not really, haha.

Fun Fact – Checkers was founded in Mobile, AL. The restaurant it merged with in 1999, Rally’s, was founded in Louisville, KY.

Maid-Rites in Iowa are classic for their burger slides and onion rings. Head on over and grab some before the locals clean them out, lol.

Fun Fact – The first Maid-Rite was opened in 1926! It was also a walk up only restaurant when it first opened.

Most people think Kansas is full of cornfields and farms, when in fact there’s a Pizza Hut on every corner. That’ll show them, ha.

Fun Fact – Pizza Hut was founded in Kansas in 1958. The reason why it is named Pizza Hut? According to lore, one of the founders’ wives named it after the shape of the building the original location was in.
