Simply AMAZING!! Simple as well. I took this to a holiday dinner at my brother’s place for ten people, and they all raved about it and asked for the recipe. The simplicity of the process surprised them. I made a double batch, but my brother wouldn’t let me take the leftovers since he couldn’t wait to eat them all. If there were a way, I’d give it TEN STARS! Putting forth the effort to create this is not something you’ll come to regret.

Really, this is out of this world! The process is also very simple. I took this to a holiday dinner at my brother’s place for ten people, and they all raved about it and asked for the recipe. No one believed how simple it actually was to put together. I made a double batch, and my brother couldn’t wait to eat up what was left, so I had to leave it there. If I had to rate it, I’d give it TEN STARS! Do it, and you won’t be sorry you did.

I have served this dish twice for guests, and both times everyone raved about how amazing it was. They all couldn’t stop praising it. This turned out just like the photo when I followed the recipe to a T. When they saw how shiny the topping was, a few folks inquired how I did it. It was a huge success, so I’m putting the recipe in a sheet protector and storing it in my favorite box. (Before retiring, I worked as a welder and equipment repairman, so this made me laugh.)

Ingredients:

The filling consists of two cartons of instant vanilla pudding (each weighing 3.5 ounces).
3 c. milk
1 (8-ounce) tub of Cool Whip
Biscuits with the graham-cracker flavor
Topping:
Cocoa, one-third cup
Cup of Sugar, One
1/4 c. milk
1/2 cup (one and a half sticks) of butter (or margarine)
A single teaspoon of vanilla extract

The graham crackers and pudding filling need to soak for a full day before being served, so start on this recipe the day before you want to eat it.

Instructions:

To make the stuffing:
Beat the pudding mix and milk together. Incorporate the Cool Whip by stirring it in.
Start by lining the bottom of a 9 by 13-inch baking dish with graham crackers. Top the graham crackers with half of the pudding filling. After one layer of graham crackers and pudding, make a second layer and repeat with the pudding and graham crackers.
Topping ingredients:
Bring the milk, sugar, and cocoa to a boil, and continue boiling for about 1 minute while stirring constantly. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for a minute. Then, mix in the butter and vanilla extract until the butter has melted.
The fourth step is to cover the graham crackers with the chocolate topping.
5. Put in the fridge for the night.
Okay, that’s all there is to it. Enjoy!
