It’s a mashup of two great cuisines: Mexican and Italian. Beans, salsa, meat, cheese, and all the fixings top the pizza dough.
This Taco Pizza is the perfect alternative to your typical Taco Tuesday meal.
Recipe for Taco Pizza
I took a weeklong hiatus from my social media accounts and now got back online. Wow, it was amazing. Because of this, the ringing or vibrating of my phone always causes me a great deal of stress. My phone is set to “Do Not Disturb,” so I’m not as affected by it.
Here’s what I picked up during my time away from social media:
My performance across the board has suffered as a result of my attempts to multitask. In between sets, I peruse the internet on my iPad. I’m attempting to write a shopping list as I wait for the store to open, but instead I find myself reading the cookie recipe that belonged to the aunt of a friend of my sister’s. If you take everything away, then I can concentrate. It doesn’t take long to complete tasks. Intermittent exercise is the norm. Everything has been completed.
Ingredients:
Lean ground beef, weighing one pound.
Taco seasoning blend, one envelope’s worth.
Croissant rolls from Pillsbury, 2 cans.
Fried beans, one 16-ounce can.
a couple of cups of grated cheddar cheese or Mexican blend.
A half cup of diced tomatoes.
The equivalent of a quarter cup of sliced black olives.
The equivalent of four green onions, chopped.
Turn your oven on to 375 degrees.
Fry the ground beef until it’s browned and then drain it. Mix the taco seasoning into the steak as directed on the package.
After unrolling the rolls into rectangles, set them in a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet measuring 11 1/2 by 16 1/2 inches.
To make the crust, press the dough into the bottom and up the sides by half an inch.
Put in the oven for 11–13 minutes.
You can heat the beans for a minute in the microwave and then spread them over the crust. Sprinkle cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and green onions, then top with the cooked beef mixture.
Just keep going for another 3–6 minutes, and then serve immediately.
Super simple, super easy, and super tasty! You won’t believe how many flavors are packed into this pizza with taco toppings. There’s plenty for a group of 12! Quick, get to the kitchen!
