You can think of Pecan Pie Bread Pudding as a pie without the crust. In its place, a delicious bread pudding is topped with the filling and baked till golden brown. Almost as good as Pecan Pie, this is a slice of heaven. I simply cannot take in enough of its stunning splendor!
A streusel-like mixture of butter, brown sugar, and pecans tops this bread pudding. To create the “crunch” and the caramel sauce, they must be mixed together. Pecan pie bread pudding has a crispy exterior. The velvety smooth texture inside makes for a visually appealing sweet. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a meal!
Ingredients:
1 loaf of French baguette that is one day old
5 eggs
3 and a half cups of whole milk
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup butter, melted
1 and a half cups of dark brown sugar
1 and 12 cups of pecan halves that have been shelled
Instructions:
First, cut the bread into pieces that resemble cubes, and then set them aside to dry for about an hour.
The second step is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 3: In a large basin, beat the eggs until they are thoroughly mixed together. Mix the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract together after adding them.
Step 4 Place the bread cubes in a baking dish, and then pour the milk and egg mixture over them to soak.
In the fifth step, the butter should be melted into the brown sugar. First, give it a good stir, then add the pecans and give it another stir.
In the sixth step, pour the mixture from step 5 over the bread that has been soaked, and then fold the bread carefully. To incorporate the pecans evenly throughout the bread pudding, fold the bread in such a way that they form clumps.
Step 7: Bake the pecan fold until the top is golden brown, or for approximately 45-55 minutes, whichever comes first.
Step 8: After the pecans have been allowed to cool for at least 20 minutes, they are ready to be served.
