Recipe for Baked Shrimp with a Basic Dipping Sauce
This dish is proof that you don’t need a lot of ingredients to prepare a delicious and filling meal.
The oven baking process yields shrimp with the ideal texture and a burst of vibrant, fresh flavor. You won’t find any rubbery or gummy shrimp here, only tender and juicy shrimp.
Make the standard cautionary note to not overcook it. Probably the most important factor for producing high-quality shrimp.
Ingredients:
One pound of raw shrimp that has been prepared by washing, peeling, and deveining
8 tablespoons of melted butter (1 stick)
3 minced garlic cloves (my addition)
A natural Italian seasoning blend from Good Seasons, 1 packet
Cut up half a lemon into circles
1 Tablespoon of chopped, dried parsley leaves
one teaspoon of ground black pepper
Directions:
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and get the oven ready.
Spread the melted butter and minced garlic over the bottom of a 9×11-inch glass casserole dish.
Form a single layer of lemon slices atop the butter.
Place the shrimp, which have been washed and deveined, on top of the lemon slices.
The shrimp would benefit from a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
Season with pepper and parsley flakes.
Cover and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven.
