The greatest option for this particular dish is rice noodles. Ramen noodles can also be used to prepare this dish, though. Ramen noodles will give additional comfort, while the rice noodles will naturally contribute to the dish’s feeling of lightness. Simply said, none of these choices can fail!
Since I can only get frozen shrimp here in the Northeast of the United States, that is what I often get when it comes to shrimp. Pricey fresh shrimp could be hard to find. However, if you find a great deal, seize the opportunity! Wherever I can, I try to purchase wild-caught, tail-on shrimp. The most successful location for me to find this was Costco. Even though larger shrimp appear to be more aesthetically pleasing, smaller shrimp can still be used.
Preparing teriyaki sauce at home is fun because it only requires a few common ingredients and is incredibly tasty. Another benefit is that you can decide exactly which components go into the sauce. As salt may always be added but cannot be removed once it has been introduced, I strongly advise choosing low-sodium soy sauce.
