INGREDIENTS :
The equivalent of 210 milliliters of beef broth.
Lean ground beef; the amount that I used was one pound.
2 Tbsp.Of softened butter.
210 milliliters.
Regarding whole milk
a yellow onion that has been diced; I used a small one.
one diced green bell pepper, preferably a smaller one.
Two tablespoons of ketchup.
I used 8 ounces of cheddar cheese and cut it into small cubes before using it.
shells of jumbo pasta, cooked; I used a total of 24.
1 level tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce………….
1/2 Tsp.Of Kosher salt.
one-half of a teaspoon of ground black pepper.
The first thing you need to do is make sure the oven is preheated to 350 degrees.
The next step is to place the beef in a large pan made of cast iron, brown it over high heat until a crust forms, and then proceed to break the beef into smaller pieces.
Incorporate the ground beef, and then wait for a deep crust to form on approximately half of this steak.
When this has been removed from the heat, keep the fat in the pan and add the onions, followed by the butter, and finally the bell peppers.
Next, allow this to brown for approximately two minutes while stirring it constantly. After that, let it sit in the same pan to brown for an additional two minutes, and then allow it to cool and set.
Place the steak back in the pan and stir in all of the remaining ingredients. Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, pepper, and salt should all be added to this according to personal preference.
After removing this from the heat, place it directly inside each of the pasta shells. After that, you can top this with any type of cheese you like, such as cheese cubes or shredded cheese.
The milk, the beef broth, and your cornstarch should all be heated together in the same kind of pan over medium heat until everything in the mixture has reached the desired consistency and thickens.
Stir in a further portion of the cheese, then continue to cook for another three to five minutes, whisking occasionally, until the mixture has reached the desired consistency.
The remaining portion of the sauce should be poured into the shells, after which they should be set aside. After that, place the shells, meat mixture, and cheese inside of the dish, and place it in the oven to bake for approximately ten to fifteen minutes.
In order to finish preparing this dish and make it ready for service, pour the remaining portion of the sauce over the top.
