Learn the secret to making the most delicious broiled lobster tails that are tender and flavorful with just the right amount of garlic lemon butter. These sophisticated lobster tails can be prepared in less than 20 minutes.
Seafood is regarded as a delicacy of refined taste, so it is frequently served at formal occasions such as weddings. But did you know it’s easy enough to whip up on a weeknight? There’s no need to save these lobster tails for a special occasion when you can enjoy them whenever you like.
Although I enjoy many types of seafood, lobster tails rank among my very favorites. You won’t believe how incredible they are when combined with this garlic lemon butter. Simply put, you can’t say no to its scrumptious taste.
Ingredients:
4 large lobster tails (about 4 to 6 ounces each) 1 1/2 pounds of Kosher salt, 1 teaspoon of white pepper, your choice of smoked or sweet paprika
Softened butter (about half a cup’s worth)
Instructions:
Turn broiler on to 450 degrees.
Using a pair of kitchen shears, carefully cut the shell in half lengthwise, making sure to leave the tail intact.
Lift the whole lobster out of the shell, being careful not to damage the meat in the tail. Wrap the meat in the shell and rest the shell on the meat.
Use plenty of kosher salt, white pepper, and paprika to season each lobster tail. Apply a butter brush.
Put on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet.
For medium-rare meat, broil for 7-10 minutes. Larger pieces may take longer.
