Need a super easy, yet delectable, meal for tonight? Try my meatloaf sometime; I guarantee you’ll be a fan. It’s low in fat, stays moist, and is topped with a sweet ketchup glaze that’s to die for. Because I’m using extra lean ground beef, homemade whole wheat bread crumbs, and egg whites, this meatloaf is a lot healthier than the traditional variety. In passing, it’s trivial to whip up your own supply of breadcrumbs.
I have never written a review here before. I’ve never thought much of anything to write about, but THIS IS AMAZING. After finding this, I will never again have to search for a meatloaf recipe.
Adore it! I felt like the meat mixture was missing something as well. Consequently, I seasoned the dish with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and green pepper. And I substituted chips for crackers and real bacon for fake.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. of beef mince
1 egg
1 small onion, diced
1/4 liter water
Bread Crumbs, Dried, 1 Cup
Use as desired in salt and pepper.
12 cup of molasses
(2 Tablespoons) Mustard, Ready to Use
ketchup, 1/3 cup
Instructions:
One: Set oven temperature to 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C).
Second, in a very large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, onion, milk, and bread crumbs. In a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan or baking dish, lightly coat with oil, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Third, in a separate, smaller bowl, mix the brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup. Combine thoroughly and pour over the meatloaf.
Method 4: Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare and savor!
Tips
The onion can be sautéed in salted butter and garlic. The onions in this dish are already diced very small, so there’s no need to sauté them.
Second, if you’re looking to add some variety to your meatloaf’s texture, you can always use meatloaf mix (beef and pork, beef, pork, and lamb).
Third, flavorful vegetables like green pepper and mushrooms can be added.
