Easy to make with crescent rolls and deli ham, Baked Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll Ups are a great choice for an appetizer or tailgating snack. These ham and cheese pinwheels are sure to be a hit with the whole family.

This recipe for buttery, flaky crescent rolls comes together in a flash and makes a wonderful savory breakfast treat.

INGREDIENTS :

Twenty-two to twenty-three slices from 1 tube of crescent dough Forrest of the Black Heart Lean slices of ham
12 thin slices of Swiss cheese
Half a cup of butter, melted
Poppy seeds, 1 tablespoon
Two teaspoons of Dijon mustard
One-half of a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

INSTRUCTIONS :

To begin, prepare a 9-by-13-inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray or greasing it with butter and placing it in a preheated 350°F oven.
Unroll the crescent dough with the long side at the bottom of the tube (rectangle). Seal the edges with your fingers and gently flatten the dough into a rectangle about 10 by 13.
Cover the dough with six slices of Swiss cheese, leaving a quarter-inch border around the edges.
Ham should be placed on top of the cheese (folded over if necessary) and the remaining cheese slices should be placed on top of the ham.
Starting with the long side, roll up the dough with the filling inside. If you can, roll as tightly as you can. Wrap it up by closing the ends with a pinch.
Make 18 servings.
Place the rollups in the dish, making sure to evenly space them and pinch together any open seams.
Butter, poppy seeds, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce should be combined in a bowl.
Submerge the rolls in the sauce and spread it around.
To get a nice crust on it, bake it uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes.
When the timer goes off, take it out and let it cool for a bit before serving.
