Oh, my! This is the best recipe ever. Carrots are a surefire way to make anyone happy, especially when they’re as soft as they are after being coated with a delectable glaze. Just be sure you stick to the order in which I’ve laid out the materials and procedures. To my friends: May today be a day of blessings for you. Enjoy!

Serve these brown sugar and butter-glazed carrot sticks with any main course, from weeknight meatloaf to Sunday ham to Thanksgiving turkey. There’s little doubt that these caramelized carrots will be a hit with the kids, but they’re also sophisticated enough to win over the grownups.

Ingredients:

2 kg of carrots, prepped as matchsticks
a quarter of a cup of butter a quarter of a cup of brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp pepper
white pepper, ground, 1/8 teaspoon

Directions:

Put the carrots in a large saucepan and cover them with water by at least an inch.

Second, bring the water to a boil by setting the pot over medium heat.

To proceed to Step 3, reduce the heat to low and cover the pan. Carrots need about 8 minutes of simmering time to become tender.

Fourth, after draining, the carrots should be transferred to a new basin.

Fifth, in the same pot, add the butter and let it melt.

Sixthly, season with brown sugar, salt, and white pepper. Put everything in a pot and stir it up.

Seventh, return the carrots to the pot and stir with the glaze until evenly distributed. You should set aside 5 minutes for this.

Cue Step 8: Eat and be Merry!
