To make this dish, you simply toss all the ingredients into a slow cooker, cover, and set the timer; when you return, you’ll have a delicious supper waiting for you. there isn’t a need for a long list of ingredients. also happens to be one of those meals that everyone in my family loves.
The chicken and gravy made in the crock pot are incredibly tasty and melt in your mouth tender. A couple hours in the crockpot and some chicken gravy, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth will do the trick. Exactly like magic, I tell you! Serve it over hot steamed rice with some green beans for a delicious midweek supper. If I had to give an honest opinion, I’d say this is the simplest dish I’ve ever prepared.

Ingredients:
Three to four chicken breasts, skinned and boneless
Cream of chicken soup, one (10.75 ounce) can
2 packets of chicken gravy mix (0.87 oz each)
Directions
Step 1:
Cook some chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Submerge the chicken in the chicken stock, cover, and simmer on high for three hours, or until the meat is very tender.
Step 2:
Remove 2 cups of the chicken stock and juices from the crock pot and transfer to a saucepan. Put the packets of gravy in the pot and stir them in. Keep cooking over low heat until the sauce thickens.
Step 3:
During the time the gravy is cooking, take the chicken out of the crockpot and shred it.
Variations
Tenderloins and chicken thighs are good substitutes for chicken breasts. Both are of equal high quality.
If you want to save time, you can use frozen chicken breasts instead.
To the gravy, you can add frozen veggies like tomatoes or celery. Their addition enhances the flavor.
You can use any gravy mix you choose instead of chicken gravy mix.
