Ingredients
2 large (burrito) wheat tortillas
One Half Pound Beef, Thinly Sliced or Diced (Ribeye or Top Round)
12 chopped onion (medium)
a half of a red pepper, chopped
12 cup of diced green pepper
(6 ounces) diced mushrooms
Sliced provolone cheese equaling 3 half-slices
a total of 1 tablespoon of olive oil, light
1 minced garlic clove
14 teaspoon (or to taste) of sea salt
one-eighth teaspoon of ground black pepper, or to taste
2 teaspoons of mayonnaise
Instructions:
Step 1:
While the oil is heating, season the meat with salt and pepper to taste and add it to a big skillet. You should let it cook until the meat is tender. Take it off the heat and cover it so it stays warm.
Step 2:
Cut the onion and mushrooms into small cubes, and dice the peppers. Then, add another teaspoon of oil if necessary and sauté the vegetables in the same skillet until they are tender. Stir in the minced garlic and return the steak to the pan to reheat.
Step 3:
If you want to make a burrito, spread some mayonnaise on a tortilla, split up the filling, and stack everything on one side. Sprinkle sliced cheese over the filling, roll up the tortilla, and enjoy!
Step 4:
To make a crispy tortilla, heat a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil, and then set the tortilla in the heated pan, where it will be flipped once and cooked until the cheese is melted and the outside is golden and crisp.
Step 5:
Chopping it up for serving. enjoy!
