Ingredients:

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels (about 200g)
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (170g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened (225g)
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained (565g)
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed (225g)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (125g)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup (50g) of sugar. Mix well until the pretzels are evenly coated.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, creating a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Stir in the crushed pineapple and whipped topping until well combined.
  6. Fold in the mini marshmallows, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  7. Spread the pineapple fluff mixture over the pretzel crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  9. Serve chilled and enjoy the divine combination of flavors and textures.

Notes:

  • For added crunch, sprinkle some crushed pretzels on top of the pineapple fluff before refrigerating.
  • Feel free to experiment with different fruit variations, such as adding sliced strawberries or mandarin oranges for a refreshing twist.
  • This salad can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
