Yummy delicacy made with pork chops and Parmesan cheese. It can be served as either a main or side dish.
One of my go-to methods for simulating the crispiness of deep-frying yields these baked parmesan crusted pork chops. They’re baked until tender and juicy after being breaded in Parmesan cheese and Panko breadcrumbs. They have all the flavor and texture of traditionally fried foods without the hassle of prepping and cleaning up afterward. To put it simply, the two together work wonderfully.
Parmesan baked chops are one of the best pork chops. They are moist and tender, and boast a hard to resist heavenly taste. This recipe is easy to make and is great for dinner, and even for events.
Prep time: 55 minutes
Serving size: 4 servings
Ingredients
Non-stick cooking spray
1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup of Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
4 (5 ounce) of boneless center-cut pork chops that are ½ inch thick
1 teaspoon olive oil
Cooking process
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While doing this, line the baking dish with aluminum foil and spray with a cooking spray.
Step 2: Mix the Parmesan cheese, pepper, breadcrumbs, and garlic powder in a bowl. Keep it aside.
Step 3: Pick up the pork chops, rub the pork chops with the olive oil and put them into the Parmesan mixture. Let them mix well so that it can soak the flavour and well coated. Then, put in the baking pan.
Step 4: Bake the coated pork chops in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the pork chops are no longer pink in the middle. Remove from the oven and serve.
Tips and variation:
The pork chop should bake to a temperature of 145 degrees. To detect the temperature, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of the pork chop before placing it in the oven.
