Pepper (for seasoning) (for seasoning)
Instructions:
It is recommended that the oven be preheated to 400F/200C.
Combine everything in a bowl and stir to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste. Combine all ingredients, then transfer to a greased oven-safe dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
Put it in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the mozzarella is melted and it’s completely cooked.
Put it in the broiler and broil it for 2 minutes to get a bubbly, golden brown top.
Feel free to pile on additional condiments. You can now serve and savor your Korean corn cheese!
Tips
It’s imperative that any standing water be removed. By doing so, you can avoid having a soggy bottom to your dish.
The Korean corn cheese dish can be made in advance. You can make the dough up to two days ahead of time and store it in the fridge before baking. Once everything is combined, cover the baking dish tightly and store it in the fridge until you’re ready to bake and serve.
If you freeze it, however, this delicious treat will keep for up to two months. That’s why it’s a good idea to make them in bulk and store the extras for later. Make sure to increase the baking time by 10 to 15 minutes once they are ready to go into the oven. This will make certain that the casserole is fully cooked and the cheese has melted.
Using a skillet is recommended, but any oven-safe dish will do when baking. The cheese will stay nice and melty because of its ability to retain heat.
Using ramekins, you can even bake it in individual servings.
